Our first visit and it won't be the last! I had the brisket served over bbq corn and lumpy mashed potatoes. Lu Ann had the salmon served on board with roasted asparagus and sweet pickled onions. We ended the experience with peach bourbon cheesecake for desert. Big city dining in a small town! All was delicious, and the service topped a perfect dinner experience!
This has to be the friendliest restaurant I’ve ever been to! Everyone was wonderful and the owners are just great people. We traveled from Walkerton and our friends came from Elkhart. We had a steak, a couple tenderloins and I had the bacon cheddar meatloaf. Yum, yum, yum!!! The brisket egg rolls were awesome and don’t even get me started on the carrot cake!!! What a fantastic place!! We can’t wait to come back.
I just ate here for New Year’s Eve dinner and I was blown away. I really was. This is a 5 star restaurant. The new years salad was probably one of the best things that I have ever had in my life. If that item was on the menu permanently it would give me a very good to drive out of my way to come back here all the time .. the service was fantastic to I had the beef Wellington. It was amazing. But the salad deserves its spot on the menu. And exactly how it is right now as well. No changes !!!!!
Wow!!! I have never left a restaurant review before. But, our experience this evening was amazing. Jason was an excellent server and the food...a party in the mouth! We started with the brisket egg rolls, then our steak and seafood entrees. And since it was our anniversary, we had to have dessert - peach bourbon cheesecake and butterfinger cheesecake. Better than anything I have had in Indianapolis. Can’t believe it has taken us this long to visit. We will be back!
Wife and I both had the cheddar bacon meatloaf (18). It was very good.
We stopped here while traveling home and it was an amazing experience after being exhausted from driving. Our waitress was super attentive and I was extremely impressed with how well she was managing the tables by herself during the lunch hour- this was the best service I have had in awhile. The restaurant makes alot of its own food and it really showed by how delicious the meals were.. prices were very fair in my opinion for the quality.
This is the place to go!! We had amazing wagyu steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. Delicious appetizer. Amazing cheesecake!! Someone also came up to us and mentioned the chocolate lava cake is wonderful! Our waitress was very good. We will be back again for sure!
